Cowboy Builders & Bodge Jobs is a Channel 5 programme where a team of experienced tradespeople put right the errors made by ‘Cowboy Builders’. With donations from companies and manufacturers and with some of the finest builders, electricians and plumbers in the business behind them, the team has set about transforming some real monstrosities into dream homes.
In episode 10, programme presenters Dan Lobb and Laura Hamilton meet father and daughter Robert and Ros Brooks from Herefordshire. Due to her father suffering a stroke, Ros has made temporary arrangements for her living room to become his bedroom while she undertakes some building work. But after a dispute with the builder, they have been living with an incomplete extension for much of the last year. The wet room for Robert was also left incomplete so he had to wash in the kitchen! In this episode Dan and Laura call in bathroom expert Paul Tingey, AKW’s Customer Support Services Director to assist in completing the wet room for Robert.

Then after a lot of hard work and some great advice from Paul, the team were able to produce a dream wet room for Robert, meaning he can be more independent in the bathroom and be safe at the same time.
