Given the latest lockdown announcements and the increase of COVID-19 restrictions, we felt we needed to provide an update on the services AKW can offer during this challenging time.
AKW will continue to operate as we have done since the 1st June, with the processes and additional safety procedures we have implemented allowing us to continue fulfilling the requirements of our customers and users of our products, who are often the most vulnerable members of our society.

Warehouse & Logistics
Our warehouse remains fully operational with our colleagues adhering to increased safety protocols.
We hold high stock levels across all our product ranges, including wet room formers, electric and mixer showers, safety flooring, tiles and wall panels, mobility aids and lighting.

Whatever job you are looking to complete, AKW One provides all the materials needed to adapt a bathroom, including plywood and timber, tiling accessories and plumbing fittings, and despatches them to site in one swift, contact-free delivery, for a faster, easier and safer installation which ensures minimal contact with others.
Distribution & Delivery
We are partnered with XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics solutions, to distribute our AKW products across the UK. XPO are fully operational across their distribution network and depot sites, and will continue to offer contact-free delivery to AKW customers using the relevant PPE and following social distancing guidelines.
Customer Support Services
Our colleagues in Customer Services are working remotely and are available between 8am – 5pm to process orders and manage account queries. If you require support, please call us on 01905 823 299.
Products can also be purchased online with account-based pricing by visiting our e-commerce website.
Our team of nationwide surveyors are more than adequately equipped to undertake home visits, with appropriate PPE and strict safety protocols in place to protect our colleagues and customers. To arrange a survey, please email us your requirements so this can be discussed further.
If you require technical support, our dedicated helpline can arrange urgent service visits for our most vulnerable customers, or key workers whose shower is their only method of washing. These visits will be conducted by a member of our maintenance team who have continued to visit clients’ homes since March under strict safety procedures. Our field-based Sales team have been successfully working remotely as per Government advice for several months for the protection of you, your colleagues and most importantly our end clients who may be vulnerable. Your local Sales representatives are available by phone and email, and are also hosting virtual meetings via video conference in lieu of face-to-face appointments.
