As part of our reorganisation in the warehousing department, we have incorporated completely new racking which has included a full relabelling of all product locations. This has allowed us to speed up our picking and packing process and has integrated perfectly with the introduction of the Delta Warehouse Management System and MHE Fork Trucks. Not only is the system now much more fluid, but as each product is scanned using the Delta scanners, you can track your order at every point from our warehouse racks to your front door.


In 2012 we had a complete racking change in our Independence Warehouse (45,000 sq ft) and Liberty Warehouse. This included the following steps:

  • Full Re-label of all locations
  • Delta Warehouse Management set up – Pick face layout (ABC products & locations)
  • Each one of the 4500 products being moved at an average of 3 -4 times during this transition

During this time we dispatched (June to Dec 2012) 61,419 Consignments with 156,828 products and it had no effect to Customer Service

Delta WMS

Delta is our Warehouse Management System it has the following features:

  • Warehouse map (Products & Locations)

  • Full upgrade of R/F Scanners

New Aisle master trucks are now fully functional within both Warehouses. All employees conducted training and successfully passed licencing tests. Stage implementation of ‘old’ equipment to new equipment. All equipment fitted with fleet management software (Impact sensors, allocated key fobs per operator etc)

These updates to our warehousing have meant that we can handle your orders and get them out to you as quickly and as efficiently as possible, in perfect condition.
