AKW, Contour & DLP Serve Up a Treat for Macmillan

In aid of the 2022 Macmillan Coffee Morning, on Friday 30^th September colleagues from across AKW, Contour Showers and DLP baked, bought and tucked in to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A vast selection of cakes, biscuits, scones, and other delicious treats were available to purchase on the day, with additional funds raised by the team at AKW HQ through holding a ‘Dress Down Friday’ and giving staff the opportunity to guess the name of a teddy bear – Goldie – and approximate how many sweets were in a jar.

Over £567 was raised collectively across the three companies, more than the amount needed to fund two Macmillan nurses for a day, a feat we hope to surpass next year.
