AKW Expand Virtual Showroom with New Accessible Kitchens

After a record-breaking launch in August 2025, AKW is proud to announce the expansion of our Virtual Showroom with two new accessible kitchen displays now available to explore online.

The AKW Virtual Showroom is a dedicated online space accessible via our website at any time – without the need to book ahead or get in a car – which has been designed to make it easier to explore a selection of AKW products.

Since this summer, the showroom has been home to eight CGI bathrooms – of which three benefit from interactive features – three product display walls that highlight our range of shower seats, grab rails and electric and mixer showers, as well as the AKW Information Hub where you can explore our range of brochures and guides.

From November 2025, the Virtual Showroom includes an entirely new floor which boasts two accessible kitchens displays – both of which incorporate a variety of interactive elements.

Our primary kitchen display showcases our wide range of discreet accessible solutions, complete with videos that demonstrate these being used by Lewis who lives with arthritis and recently visited in our Middlewich showroom in Cheshire.

The second kitchen display allows you to select from range of carcass/door finishes – each offered with a complementary worktop design – to see the complete aesthetic with a clearer vantage point. This also includes our dementia-friendly PETG transparent door fronts which are available with our Shaker doors, and aim to help to reduce confusion for people with dementia in the kitchen.

The additions to the showroom also include displays showcasing our range of worktop, door and carcass finishes, as well as our unit handles.

In all displays throughout the Virtual Showroom are easy-to-use icons which enable you to view videos, specification sheets, or brochures, making it easier to find the information you need, fast.

The showroom is easily accessible via laptop, tablet or phone, with plenty of useful features to help you navigate your way around, such as hotspots which enable you to tour the space, spin 360 degrees in all directions, and zoom in/out to take a closer look.
