AKW get Pretty Muddy for Cancer Research UK

On Saturday 9th July, 22 head office colleagues from AKW took part in the Pretty Muddy 5K Race for Life at Worcester Racecourse in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Running as part of Team AKW were staff members from IT, Human Resources, Customer Services, Finance, Quality, Logistics, Product & Marketing, and Sales, along with Managing Director Paul Tingey and UK Marketing & Product Management Director Stuart Reynolds.

With plenty of well wishes and support from friends, family and colleagues on the side lines, the team braved soaring temperatures as they ran, walked, crawled through tunnels, scrambled under cargo nets, and rode down a giant mud slide before triumphantly crossing the finish line where they were awarded a medal for their efforts.

Collectively the team has raised over £3,350 for charity, a feat we are extremely proud of.
