AKW Launch Clinical Hub at Occupational Therapy Show 2025

- Written by Laura

As part of our commitment to making life better through digital innovation, AKW are proud to announce the launch of our brand-new Clinical Hub, which made its debut at the Occupational Therapy Show 2025.

Freely accessible via the AKW website, the Clinical Hub is home to a collection of digital resources that have been designed to offer condition-specific information to support occupational therapists and specifiers.

The Hub features a range of guides, videos and presentations created in collaboration with industry experts from The Occupational Therapy Service, Arthritis UK and many more, with the aim of providing greater knowledge about how to adapt homes for people with a variety of clinical requirements.

This includes information about how to design accessible homes for people recovering following a stroke, who require wheelchair access, or are living with dementia, arthritis or visual impairment.

The Clinical Hub officially launched on 26th November at the Occupational Therapy Show 2025, the UK’s leading healthcare event and CPD accredited conference for occupational therapists.

Held annually at the NEC, Birmingham at the end of November, the show welcomes 5,000 delegates every year, with more than 200 suppliers exhibiting – of which AKW are proud to be headline and Keynote Theatre sponsors.

Along with the launch the Clinical Hub, at the exhibition AKW presented new areas within the Virtual Showroom and the recently launched Guide to Creating Accessible Kitchens and Bathrooms for Arthritis, as well as showcasing a variety of products, including a fully accessible kitchen, an arthritis-friendly wet room, AKW Alvéo PVC Wall Panels, AKW Electric Showers, and the AKW Rise & Fall Bidet which is due to re-launch in early 2026 with additional inclusive features.
