On Friday 6th May, head office colleagues along with friends and family members attended the first AKW quiz night and buffet at The Alma Tavern, Worcester, in aid of Dementia UK.
Hosted by Customer Service Advisor and experienced quiz master Jon Wall, five teams enthusiastically battled it out and faced 50 trivia questions covering everything from music to geography.
Over £80 was raised for Dementia UK, a cause very close the hearts of the team at AKW, with many of our products specifically designed to help improve the lives of those with the condition.
Following the event’s success, future charity social events have been planned for the coming months, with colleagues from across the business due to participate in the Worcester Pretty Muddy 5K on Saturday 9th July, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
