The 4000 Series Large Extra Wide Shower Seat can safely support people of up to 50st / 317.5kg and features a large extra wide, comfortable folding seat for greater flexibility and function for people that need it.

The seat is available with or without a removable, soft-feel seat cushion offered in two colour options to ensure sufficient colour contrast is achieved for people living with dementia or visual impairment.

AKW 4000 Series Shower Seats are designed to offer comfortable and durable solutions that are ideal for installation in residential and commercial care environments with fold-up seats as standard to maximise space when not in use.

  • Strong enough to safely accommodate people of up to of 50 stone / 317.5kg
  • Adjustable for comfort, seat height can be adjusted at the point of installation to accommodate the individual’s needs with seat heights of between 390-640mm (provided by two sets of leg height supplied as standard)
  • Available with/without padded seat cushion which is made from soft-feel polyurethane, and available in grey or blue, offering sufficient colour contrast for people with dementia or visual impairment
  • Optional seat pad can easily be removed for cleaning
  • +/- 13mm fine adjustment to support leg allows for gradient in floor to optimise comfort on a level seating
